Preschool
A planned program of daily activities is provided to encourage each child to explore, discover, create, and learn. According to the readiness of each child, we introduce the beginning skills of reading, writing and math. Our teachers observe, record, and assess your child’s developmental achievements with the utilization of the Teaching Strategies GOLD System.
• PHLpreK is a free program proudly funded by the City of Philadelphia.
All children who are 3 or 4 by September 1 of each year (September to June), and reside in Philadelphia County are eligible. There are no income requirements for participation in this pre-K program.
• Head Start is funded by the State of Pennsylvania in partnership with the School District of Philadelphia. 100 percent of individuals within the city's Poverty Guidelines are eligible.
PreK- Counts is funded by the State of Pennsylvania in partnership with the School District of Philadelphia.
